OCTOBER: THE BEST TIME TO BUY A HOME IN 2025

If you’ve been watching from the sidelines, now’s the time to lean in.  It’s officially the best time to buy this year.  According to  Realtor.com , this October will have the most buyer-friendly conditions of any month in 2025: “By mid-October, buyers across much of the country may finally find the combination of inventory, pricing, and negotiating power they’ve been waiting for— a rare opportunity in a market that has been tight for most of the past decade .” So, if you’re ready and able to buy right now, shooting for this month means you should see: More homes to choose from Less competition from other buyers More time to browse Better home prices Sellers who are more willing to negotiate Just remember, every market is different. For most of the top 50 largest metros, that sweet spot falls in October. But the peak time to buy may be slightly earlier or later, depending on where you live. Transitioning from Holiday Decor to Winter Decor

Our champagne is popped and I’m ready for everything 2020 has in store! As we get ready to welcome another year, I’m showing you how to transition your holiday decor to elegant winter decor. Freshen up your home with decor that will last you through all of the winter months.

  1. Down goes the Christmas Tree. Or at least the ornaments! If you are choosing to keep your tree up a little while longer, take down the holiday ornaments and simply leave the tree bare.

2. Keep a simple color palette. Take away the bright red and greens and update with mainly greenery, gold and silver.

3. Replace garland and wreaths with small, subtle trimmings. Choose locations such as the mantle or centerpiece for a table.

4. Update your mantle. Take down the Santa figurines and stockings, and replace with candles and greenery.

5. Add lots of blankets! With Winter decor comes Winter temperatures. Place faux fur blankest and throws in each room for easy access!
